Creating space

I've picked up a habit of using seemingly insignificant moments to create more space for myself. Similar to a meditation practice but different, this never feels forced or timed, it just happens. This habit has taught me the meaning of meditation. Meditation isn't something you do, meditation is something you are. Meditation is home.

Some traps I’ve fell into.

“Knowing where the trap is—that's the first step in evading it.”― Frank Herbert Over my 20 years, I've run into a nice fistful of traps, some big, some small. I felt like sharing some of them with you today. The first is the trap of having no tangible routine. I've spent a lot of time going... Continue Reading →

“Life is a dream in which you are the dreamer as well as the dreamed.” ― Bentinho Massaro I wanted to make an objective post on the synergy between achievement and satisfaction. By this I mean I want to prod around at the idea that gaining something can bring us happiness. This is the prevalent belief system... Continue Reading →

The power of a stroll.

“Now shall I walk or shall I ride?'Ride,' Pleasure said;'Walk,' Joy replied.” ― William Henry Davies I want to share what I consider to be one of the more powerful habits that I've picked up along my journey. When I was younger I would often find that it was pretty easy for me to get stressed out... Continue Reading →
