Time for a change

“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.”
― Rumi

Over the last 6 months to a year, I’ve made progress to degrees I wouldn’t have thought possible before, everything down to my level of consciousness, health, personal development feels like it has skyrocketed, all of which I’m incredibly proud of and grateful for. Now with all the improvement, I’ve developed a series of new habits and lifestyle choices and that’s what this month is going to be about, improving upon and installing new habits that I find serve me and dropping the ones that I find aren’t serving me.
The stuff that id like to work on improving/adding to my life would be more meditation, polishing up on certain aspects of my nutrition, more reading and learning new subjects overall (2 hours a day at least) and potentially adding some new extracurricular activity, I was really enjoying Brazilian jiu-jitsu for the majority of last year so maybe taking that up again. And for the less than savoury habits that id like to kick, first and foremost would be cutting out smoking pot (acts as a major catalyst for the following), junk foods and binge eating and lastly would be reducing or even cutting out completely any kind of toxic influence EG lower consciousness TV, Music and media, negative people and so forth, I don’t feel like these things overwhelm or overrun my life but I still see room for improvement in their regards. It’s my hope that by posting this it’ll make my decision more official and help keep me on track.

  1. Been following all your posts and there all really interesting.. Its so nice that you take time out of your day to do this…. I definetly think your right about writing things down.. They become real then if you know what I mean. We do alot of this in the counselling course.. Its definetly made me more self aware.
